Fees

Individuals:
My charge for a session, which lasts a full hour (including initial sessions), is £60.

Couples:
My standard fee for couples therapy is £70.

Concessions are available as I am always willing to take people's financial situations into consideration. We will discuss and decide a fee schedule together in these circumstances.

Days and hour available:
Day and evening sessions are available between 8am and 9pm, although evening sessions are in shorter supply.

How does it work?

We use an initial consultation to discuss your situation and whether counselling is the right way ahead. At the end of this session, if you are still interested in counselling, we will arrange a time and date to meet regularly. This will be reviewed periodically.

How does the arrangement work?

We hold open your slot every week, which you attend at the same time. In the event that you work an irregular pattern, we will consider a plan which takes into account your situation, yet holds the therapeutic framework.

What if I cannot make a session?

As long as you can give twenty-four hours’ notice, I will try to rebook you at an alternative time and you will not be charged a cancellation fee. I realise that there can be lot of apprehension, entering counselling but your therapy session is an important time which is held open just for you and I have to charge your fee, if you cancel within twenty-four hours.

What about my availability.

I will give you at least two weeks’ notice of holidays and phone if I am are unable to see you for any unforeseen reason. Obviously, you will not be charged for the session.

What if I arrive early?

Please do not arrive more than five minutes early. I do not have a waiting room, so I ask that you keep to this timetable.

How do I pay?

Sessions are paid for weekly by cheque, cash, PayPal or online transfer. Monthly billing is available.

Travel arrangements?

We are centrally located in the heart of Cambridge, on Maids Causeway which runs alongside Midsummer Common.

Convenient car parking is available at the neighbouring Grafton West car park. Charges are currently £1.80 an hour up to 5pm and then 70p an hour.

We are a short walk from the main bus station and the Citi 3, 10, 11, 12 and 196 lines, stop on Maids Causeway.
